Wild Horse Adoption: You will choose me!

At a wild horse adoption center, I found many subjects for photos. This horse seemed intent on selection. (No, I don't have a home for a horse, but love to look at them.) Slight color adaptions, crop and then conversion to BW.

I like what you captured and how you processed it. That horse in the front walking right out of the image fits the title, for sure. I'd suggest keeping the two foreground horses and ground as they are but blurring the background some. Not enough to hide the other horses but to make especially the two on the left less noticeable.

Hazel, I like the way one's eye is captured by the fg horse and then moves to the two horses behind. I would prefer that the lead horse's hoof and the left rear horse's rump not be cut off. They look as if they are aware of the controversy concerning their management.

They do look sad. I imagine they are not happy being rounded up. I like how the two main horses mimic each other. Nice processing.

I like this a lot, there is a narrative here which is nicely captured. I wish for the foreground horse head to be a little sharper, but otherwise like everything. Great application of black and white.

I did a bit of blur as Dennis suggested. Then I realized a horse's body behind the main central one is rather oddly placed, so I tried a removal. This new version does seem to crop tightly but hopefully is still an improvement. sorry I couldn't do anything about the horse on the left. That's all the canvas available. Better????

A very creative solution to getting rid of the other horse!!! With the new location of the foreground horse's head, I think I like the composition better.

Actually, the photo had enough spacing that I could do a rectangle selection of the horse on the left , put it on a separate layer and slide it over. Careful cloning helped the vertical joining line go away. then cropped the whole thing. fun to work on.
