Oh like this very much.. Love how the first two wildebeest are identical in step. Nicely composed as well. Brings back good memories for me!

I like it a lot. I agree with Robert that the synchrony in stride adds to it and it gives a real sense of place.

I don't know the etiquette on tweaking other people's images but I have 'cropped' by holding a piece of card against the screen just above that central tree and a very different image emerges - it seems more of an 'endless trek' whereas the OP is one of environment.

Hi Andre - I agree with Dale and Mike. This works extremely well. The synchronized step adds to it. Good placement of the wildebeests in the frame. They look very skinny which adds to the feeling of a long journey. Nice one.

Thank you Dale, Mike,Rachel and Ben for kind comments!

Mike, I tried to include as much as possible habitat to go with this month's theme. I might crop and post later as a different image....

Hi Andre, the three WB certain convey a very weary, tired, thirsty, plodding walk in the arid, dry heat of the day. Nice side profile and I like the space you have allowed at either end. If the IQ allowed, I might even try a crop tighter i.e. 16x9 where you have no sky, just the barren environment????

    Hi Andre,

very nice image indeed. I like the image as it is AND with a crop, even more less height then 16:9. They look really thirsty those animals.

    have a great day

    Ciao Anette
