I like the POV on this one Jon. Nice details on the bird and the BG is lovely. The bird against the BG shows motion which brings the image alive. I would have liked to see it flying towards us or looking back. Good work and thanks for sharing

Jonathan do like the dramatic BG on this,well done for catching it flying,very nice piece of work.
Amazing background effect, very painterly, nice colors. I would not have expected such a dramatic effect of the panning on the background at that shutter speed.
Nice positioning of the bird against the lighter background elements, to help it pop.

Speak English Jon. Great flight pose of a subject we normally see on the ground. I do like the splayed primaries and what complimentary colours. Well captured for a grab shot.
Jon, did you switch the IS setting? If this is a 'grab' shot then probably didn't have time.

Steve I use AI Servo practically all the time only occasionally do I switch to one shot for macro.
