Let's hear it - Aaah! Cute little fellow eh?
This was on "top 't moors" in Yorkshire and ee by gum it were grand!
The usual colouration is brown for rabbits in UK but black is by no means unknown. His little sister/brother was brown.

Nice, Jon. I might crop a little off the left, but the composition, sharpness, subject and exposure are all excellent. BTW, aren't the moors where the Hound of the Baskervilles attacked Sir Charles?

Thanks for the comments Norm - glad you liked it, I think (?) the Baskervilles was in Dartmoor whereas these rabbits were in the Dales in Yorkshire i.e. Swaledale. (someone will shoot me down in flames now!!)

Cute?! He is adorable, Jonathan! I wish to grab him and place him in my pocket, take him home:)

Well, I did take him home for just a few minutes, hope you forgive me for doing so...In terms of crop and composition I like it as is, I only found this image a tad muted (for lack of a better word).

Not sure I managed to bring about enough "punch" or "life" as I wanted to, the change is perhaps minimal, but here's a modest try - let me know what you think, can you see any difference?

I find this rabbit very cute and so appealing, this shy pose is delightful - wonderful capture Jonathan!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Jonathan - Yes, a definite cuteness factor here. I like the pov and comp. I think I would go somewhere between your op and Gabriela's rp. I prefer the muted bg of your op and I think Gabriela has gone too far with the punch as there is now a lot of white tips and highlights coming through on the bunny (sorry Gabriela). Very nice image.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Thanks for the comments everyone he is a cute little chap isn't he? I see the difference Gabriela - thanks for the repost, I quite like it, having said that the light wasn't particularly bright at the time so I feel my version was closer to reality. I would agree with Rachel perhaps mine does need a little more punch or pop so somewhere between the two versions might be best.

Absolutely Jonathan - I agree with you, and also with Rachel regarding BG. Was I bit rushed and did the adjustment overall so my changes affected the BG - sorry it's a bit rough, I just wanted to convey the need for a bit more "shine" in the fur of the subject, a bit of "pop" as you said.

The more I look the more I adore this little bundle - he is so cute, and looks kind of shy too:) Show us some more if you have, Jonathan!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hello Jonathan ! Wat a cute fellow , loved the subject here and your OP, but the sharpness in Gabriela's version is much better.

Hi Jon, never seen one of these up here, so kudos . Sure you haven't visited 'Toys R Us' or a petrol (Gas) station' on the way up, LOL, glad you didn't post this on April 1.

Nice detail and the subject has nice standout, looks a bright day.

    TFS
    Steve
