Default THEME - IWATWTB Part 2

Here is one of the blurs from Sant Pau de Camp that is more abstract. I think they are all rather other-worldly and this one reminds me of Dune for some reason.

Cheryl, I love the depth and simplicity of the image. What was the bg yielding the fog like effect?

Oh, my goodness. I'd walk all the way from Michigan to Barcelona to get an image like that.

This is a fabulous minimalist image!! Minimal lines and minimal colors. I have the same question as Gary about how that background was created. You have a great eye to see this among all the details of Barcelona! BTW, if you want a 15% discount on a Topaz Impression, go to Mike Motes web site where he offers a code for this.

Thanks, Gary, Dennis and Nancy. The background is the ground (light colored sand). The first image was shot at 1/13 sec. and this one at 1/6 sec. which gives it more of an ethereal look to it I think. I happened to see the cover of the DVD Where the Wild Things Are and the background looks just the same :) I thought it was amusing that one of my favorite images from my trip was something I could have taken anywhere.

Very lovely! The spacing of the trees, the foggy effect, the texture from the bark -- very special! And of course, if you found it THERE, it was worth the trip!

    Mystical. Mysterious. Inviting.
    Above comments have said it.
I like that the sand/bg is also blurred.
I wonder what it would look like with a vertical crop.
I think you were inspired by your trip.
