One of the first shots of an afternoon session at Ft. Desoto. I would normally delete due to the wing clipping, but I liked the water trailing off the feet.

    Hi Robert
That's nice! feels like I;m there with it. And just my type of BG Love it ! I would even be so bold as to say a little more wing clipping would add impact- maybe not.

Wonderful, with great focus. John could have a point about even a little more clipping. Definitely a keeper!

Nice head on shot and I too like the Watersplash. The green reeds add a lot to that image and I agree about maybe even a tighter crop. Nice capture

Nothing wrong with the cut wings here, as they are just that..solidly cut (rather than slightly clipped). I love the low angle, water splashing, grasses in the BG. As a fan of gulls this one really grabs my attention!

Hi Robert. Great looking image. I love the POV and the details on the bird. The grasses in the BG are perfect.
