Hi Morkel - These trees look like great subjects even without the lions. I do wish the second lion wasn't being shy but I bet you do too. I like the morning light and colors. I'm surprised you went so wide on the aperture rather than stopping down a bit but it works with the lion and trees in focus.

Rachel

This works very well Morkel.. Like the composition. Did you vignette the sky in post? I think I was at this camp (can't recall the name of it) on my last visit.

Hi Morkel
Love the little one's pose, pity his Boet is playing peek-a-boo..
See some posterization in sky, is it due to PP?
Do not recognise the location, where is it exactly?

Thanks folks - yes Dale added a bit of a vignette to focus on the cubs.

Might be due to PP, Andre.
Location is between Grootkolk and Kannagauss waterhole, I had to take a little drive onto the Kaa access road to get pics

Hello Morkel ! This is a brilliant frame, wished the other lion was looking towards you !

Hi Morkel, like the impact of the environment and the horizontal ratios, but like others, I too wish for the other cub to be more visible, are there any frames further on???
