    Hi Roy
Great stuff- its the camera that does it !! Love the inclusion of the cactus flower, and the slightly informative back ground.
Good one- certainly an eye grabber.

Nice perch and excellent pose captured, Roy. The background is nice but it is on the cold side.

Very nice composition. Love the colors of the flowers with the bird. I do see a bit of halo around the birds head, there's like a line of darker green surrounding the top portion.

The pair that has been coming to my back yard for the last couple years just showed up yesterday in So Cal. They like to nest in a large palm in my back yard. This guy looks great and I like the nice pose and HA along with the nice perch and that killer BG. The light looks great and covered him well along with it being well exposed. Very nice frame.

I really like the colour contrasts of the bird, flower and BG. I too see a green halo around the bird's head. Nice image!

Love these birds, you have done a great job of capturing him and a super perch.
