    Hi Chris
One of the most difficult birds to get right I reckon. This has been handles well. There is very often no detail in the whites at all. As yu know I always like a little in the BG but no big deal- this one shows the bird off well. All looks fine by me but others will see it differently.
    Cheers

Very appealing image. I love the perch. Good pose too, and the BG sets off the subject nicely. Well balanced comp, perfect catchlight. Well done!

Lovely image from the lichen on the rock to the nice tonal control on the subject which pops nicely off the BG.

One of your better frames Chris. The subject looks exposed perfectly and the feather detail is beautiful. Nice upward looking pose, great looking lichen covered rock and my kind of nice smooth BG. Well played.

Very nice Chris. The colours on the bird are lovely and blend well with the terrific BG and nice looking perch. Good work

Good pose and details on whites and blacks. BG is good and perch is what you would expect for this species. Unfortunate that the tail is not visible
