Lovely top side look at this beautiful duck. Great clean background with a nice blue color that goes well with the blues on the wing. I do think the bird look a bit soft.

lovely top side view in excellent light and with a pretty BG. Optimal processing has left the image soft with crunchy details. Correct processing will make a world of difference here

Hi John, it was Great having you attend our workshop and I really enjoyed working with a photographer of your caliber. You sure have a great portfolio. This Drake cinnamon Teal looks beautiful with a nice banking pose and lots of nice color showing on the wings and speculum. Great-looking head angle also and that vivid red eye looks riveting. I do agree that the processing looks a little off but probably an easy fix. Maybe a little too much sharpening. It takes a little bit of figuring to know how much sharpening you need for the web. Great capture as these guys are smoking fast as you know! Looking forward to our next meeting.

Hi John! Glad you enjoyed the workshop as much as we enjoyed having you with us. You got a great pose from this Cinnamon Teal drake; love the topside detail. Processing issues have been addressed above but as you were kind enough to provide me with the RAW file, here is a repost. There's a definite art to posting for web on BPN, and it takes time to optimize your workflow.

    Hi John

Great capture getting this duck in flight and the repost by Doug is excellent. Terrific colours on the bird. I like the top side view and the HA. The eye is stunning. Well done John and thanks for sharing.
