    Default turkey vulture

i consider myself pretty lucky to have not ruined this shot , i was just driving along when i saw a few vultures circling by the road and jumped out of the car. in my panic to change settings i forgot to lower the iso and the shutter speed went all the way up to 1/8000.

I love TVs! Love your description of getting the shot. I think if you could tease some detail from the head/underwing area, it may help a bit.

I love TVs too! I like the flight pose here, and the image seems sharp enough as posted. Good comp, but there could be a bit less at left for an even better one. There are two main issues to my eye: the image is underexposed, and the sky colour is a bit off IMO (too "electric" cyan, if that makes sense). Can't wait to see my first one of the season!

I like the flight pose, and I think you did a decent salvage job here. But I agree with Daniel's two points; the image is still underexposed, and the sky color is off.
