love the intense action and the water drops plus the fish, I have to say the IQ is not up to your usual high standards, the under wings and the shaded part of the head show quite a bit of noise and it's a bit soft overall.

Wow, right into your face. Great action shot, love the eye contact, the sharpness of the head and the water splash, Alan.

It sure looks plenty sharp on my monitor. The water and the eyes make me feels I'm there.

Hi Alan, I am using a macbook pro with retina and it looks pretty sharp to me too. This is a very powerful image; awesome really! Considering the conditions, glare, reflection, light, dynamic range, it it pretty good to me. I do see some noise under the wings in the shadow area. Perhaps someone more qualified could chime in but why not bring the shadows back and then the white head, eyes, feet, and water droplets will pop. To me less detail on the dark feathers wont matter, this image is about the head, eyes, prey, and the intensity of the moment. Impressive Capture -steve-

Magnificent image of incoming eagle. Spectacular pose, great details and nice composition.
Love the fish and vertical flash of water on horizontal blue waves in water.

    Regards.
