This was taken last May at a local conservation area. I know the bird is obstructed by the leaves but I like how it shows the elusive nature of this species. I hope you like it and look forward to any comments and suggestions.

Hi Jim lovely colors , a pleasing BG , the right tonality makes this a nice image . I think the leaves are a bit distracting , but no big deal for me . Lovely IQ , i might only watch the blue channel ........ is really clipped in the shadows , resulting in blacks with no detail in parts .

    Well done, TFS Andreas

    Another great Warbler shot Jim.
Ilove the vegetation and the BG. Just right. I like to see birds photographed peering out of cover. As we see them. Can't comment on the colour as I,ve not seen one of these.

Nice capture of this toughie, Jim. Sure, fewer leaves might be better, but this does capture his elusiveness. Hard to see, or capture, this guy down low and in the open. In fact I've never seen one in the open unless he's 75 feet up on the top of a spruce tree. Great colors and pose.

One of the most handsome Warbler male you can find. Excellent shot, Jim.

I enjoy the suggestion of water in the background. Lovely capture of the fire throated one! The setting looks great to me, and eye level with no attractants, smack on light angle....it's all good...I think the tree species is green ash....
