    Love the sky! I'm wishing I'd purchased Impressions when it first came out. The bird seems a bit large and out of proportion, but, I don't know much about birds, so may be wrong.

    I think I remember this same scene. It is an OOTB image for me because I don't think you'd see an egret in a snowy image. Nice masking work.

    Nice composite and treatment. I wonder how it would look with the BG flipped horizontally and the bird moved a little to the left, so it was flying toward the large tree and with more space in front of it.

    Not sure it's any better, just a different interpretation. But I assume you tried that and prefer the story this one tells.
