    Nice pose and wing position. I might lighten the dark area underneath the wing.

    Hi Dan,

    Lovely pose and wings. I would make the sky a little darker as the bird is blending too much with it! Congrats about your new lens!

    Great job capturing the "look". I am very jealous of you people who can just "stop by" some place to see birds like this.

    Dan,

    I would try darkening up the face some, it looks to light to me. Or perhaps Maxis' suggestion would be better. Plus a bit of red saturation.

    Updated to address the comments above - darkened sky, lightened under the wing, increased red sat. I also bumped the yellow sat just a tad to better match the actual conditions.

    Thanks to all of you for the kind feedback. I believe this version is a definite improvement.
