    Hello from Montana Karl,
I will be the first to take a crack at this one. First of all, I shoot the 1D iv too and it is my favorite body. I am just beginning to shoot birds but I have used the 1D iv for years for large mammals . The pose is pleasing as is the color and distraction-free smooth background. I appreciate the more natural tones and colors of subject and the fact that the head is turned toward the viewer. The quality and detail is excellent. The perch is sharp and in focus which is a plus, but I do think that the branch is a little bit heavy next to this delicate bird. The web strands add some interest. -steve-

I love this species, one that is considered very uncommon here...but I had the fortune to see a nesting pair minutes from my house! I like the pose and details. BG is nice and clean. The webbing certainly does add interest here. If anyhting I do feel the subject is a tad large in the frame...more room top and right, if you have it, would be welcome IMO.

Great capture of a bird that is hard to get Karl. I like the pose, sharpness, details, exposure and clean BG. I could see a version with some more room as well.

    This is really nice!
    Great DOF and excellent IQ.
I see some cloning artifacts between the legs by the branch and would tidy that up.

Thank you Daniel, Gail, Satish, Jim and William.
I added some canvas and did some work in the area, Gail mentioned.
