Looks great Joe! Great job with the comp and exposure. Details look good too. You could smooth out or tone down the bright part of the BG touching the forehead, but all-in-all this is a very well executed portrait.
I like the exposure, sharpness, details, clean BG and feather on the beak. Composition wise I would add a little in front of the egret making a more pano comp but its fine as presented. Very well done Joe.
