    New born (1 day old) pigeon chicks with their mommy. There are two chicks, one under the mum which is barely visible (beak) and the second one rests nicely next to mom.

    Nice image, quite interesting. I have never seen a baby pigeon before. Thank you for sharing.

    Sweet family image. Looks like focus was on the shoulder and not the face. more DOF would help here.

    Thanks Joseph and Alan. The focus was on the chick, hence shoulder of mommy is sharper than the mom's eye. Agree on DOF, will try with tripod and cable release today.

    Despite their abundance I too have never seen a pigeon chick before. How cool! Check out that bill! I like the tender mood to the image but I agree with more dof...although by the looks of the techs you were hard pressed to get sufficient light on the sensor. Perhaps thinking "digitally" and taking two or three images and stacking them in post would be an option...
