    Default Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach - IR



    Was out there around lunch time (best time for IR) to photograph the memorial. I had never been there before. Took a series of shots, and when I saw this one, it kind of blew me away. I did not see the flare when I shot this. I think the flare with the polarizer caused the circular effect as well which made the image so much more powerful to me.

    Pure accident. Go figure.

    Very striking image Michael. I really like the the depth you got in the figures and the flare makes it more powerful to me too. My eye seems to be drawn away by the two branches(?) on the right side roughly in the middle of the frame, but it's a small thing.

    Very nice.

    That place is so creepy!! I was there about 2 years ago and really put my hairs up!

    i like the IR treatment. was there yesterday on the inside by myself with that music playing. it really messed me up. i had to leave.

    very well done Mike.. Reminds me of an image made by the late great Monte Zucker. Very powerful indeed.
