    Default sparrows

    the weather finally warmed up today with almost no wind so i was able to get to my favorite spot where there is a lot of bird action.
    here are a few from this morning
    70d 400f 5.6 + 1.4II extender .taped pins and autofocus works pretty good. it hunts sometimes but it works . there was a lot of good light but i still had to push the iso up pretty high cause i forgot my tripod at home lol

    70d 560mm f11 1/2000 iso 1600

    I just saw that there should only be 1 image per post and its to late to edit . sorry , wont happen again.

    Hi Stuart, Welcome and no worries. I got rid of two of them and left my favorite. Are the birds coming to seed? Is the bird a Tree Sparrow? If anything, the image above could go a bit lighter all around. a

    Yes there is a feeder close by . it is a sparrow but im not sure what kind , im still pretty new at trying to id them. Thank you for taking time to look at my photos . it is very encouraging that a pro like yourself is even looking at my pics . thank you very much .

    YAW. I am pretty sure that it is a Tree Sparrow. Best advice: take a walk in the woods and look for come really nice natural perches with character.... Then put them up by the feeder in front of nice BKGRs.

    Let me know if you are not sure how to lighten the image as it is too dark. a

    is this better Artie , or should it be lighter still? i am away from home for a few days and using my laptop , the brightness changer a lot with screen angle so its hard to see what is right. also i just got glasses and i have never worn any before so everything looks a little funky lol.

    Much better. Do you know how to take advantage of the Monitor Calibration strip at the bottom of each BPN page???
