    This is lovely Karl.
I really like the quality of the light and that great blue color in the water.
Tack sharp and nice wing position.
I would love to see a bit more room in front and below if you have it! The wavy line in the water at the bottom of the frame is really pretty.

Hi Karl a great dynamic frame with lovely colors and a nice tonal range throughout the image. Nice light and perfect wing position and HA .

A bit more room all around would not hurt , i think.

Hi Karl - Very nice details, wing position, sharpness and colors all combine for an excellent image. I agree with Gail and Andreas that a little more room would take it up a notch.

Nice look at this hen gadwall Karl. I like the wing position and the exposure and details look great also. I like the color of the water and yes, I would like to see a bit more room on the bottom also. Very nice

Excellent shot well focused and exposed, I too would suggest the subject is a tad large in the frame.

Superb and as suggested by me I am fine with the framing as is :). My favorite part of the image is the touch of orange on what might be some of the coverts on the far wing. If anything I would go for a bit more room in front.... a

Cracking shot Karl. Great pallette on this one too. More or less a perfect flight shot.
