    Made this in the coastal town of Mulki, Karnataka with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500mm.
    F8 | ISO 400 | SS 1/1250 @ 500mm. Manual / Eval
    Small Crop | USM | NR on BG.

    Retained the color cast of the evening sun along with the OOF dry leaves & shells.

    Critiques & comments most appreciated.

    Hi Girish, lovely low shooting angle, and a good HA too. I like the feather detail, and the colours of the Plover and BG compliment each other very well. Of course, not seeing the feet is not ideal, but you knew that.

    Great-looking pose and I really like the colors and the details in this one. Yes not seeing the feet is not ideal but not a deal breaker either. I would remove some of the debris in the foreground. Well

    A species I have never seen..and I have never been to India:). I like the overall feel of the image with the brownish colors and the soft light. Love the low angle and doesn't bother me not seeing the feet. Cleaning up the fore ground is a good call from David. Nice work.
