Default Coyote in Field of Mostly White

Another image from Yellowstone. Like with my fox image posted a few weeks ago, I wanted a minimalist effect/feel here. This was taken in the Lamar Valley. The coyote was heading to a bison carcass. I decided there really wasn't enough landscape here to call this animalscape for this month's theme.

    Hi Rachel,

It does show the animals home and conditions it faces very well though! The lifted leg implies motion! Perfectly exposed, good detail and sharpness and a pleasing composition make this one a winner!

Hi Rachel i like this one a lot , very well exposed and the trotting movement of the Coyote makes this image come alive .
Nice detail/sharpness in the main subject and just the right amount in the snow .

We'll done , Rachel TFS Andreas

Hi Rachel. I like the composition, with excellent exposure and details. I like the minimalistic look here and the position of the coyote with its raised foot.

A beauty Rachel - well exposed, and the snow so soft under this Coyote's feet

Love the composition and detail, great techs, subject sharp as can be.

I like the effect you achieved here with the Coyote looking lost in white landscape - IMO this fits into the month' theme

    Warmest regards,

    I love it.
Plus, I think it qualifies as a scape. So what if it's all snow?

Hi Rachel, like the wild expanse here, with the subject small, works well.
