like the intense concentration in looking for its next meal.
IQ & colors are excellent. maybe a looser comp if it is not a full frame image.

    I love giant kingfishers!
Nice intense gaze as he peruses the water for fish.
Good IQ and nice eye level POV. Very nice mottled BG.
I feel that the belly feathers are a bit oversaturated in their color and would tone them down a bit. I would also like a bit more breathing room on the left if you have it.
    Nice image and TFS,
    Gail

What a cute bird, so seemingly out of proportion with that giant bill and tiny feet. Having never seen one, I can't comment on color. I was thinking about the composition. For this presentation, or if printing and framing, I think that looser would be more appealing. But if you were using it for something like a field guide or a childrens' book, this would be perfect. I like the background, but would run noise reduction on it (again, if you already have) which will smooth it out as well.

Hi Andre, I like the fishing pose, and that she's looking down the line of the perch. The 'spikey' hairdo is showing us that she is alert, and I like the colourful BG.

Hi Andre havenīt you posted this fame before ....... not long ago ?
Doesnīt matter still a nice frame .
Well executed for the given techs . Nicely framed with good detail/color and tones . Love the creamy colorful BG.
I might only tone down the 1/4 tones and you will have a bit more depth in the image , just my 2 cents .

Nice work Buthi , BTW are you missing the 600 ?

    Cheers your NP

    Thank you all for commenting!
This was almost FF, as the boat was drifting towards the bird.
    Tried to compose in camera.

This is an older image, Andreas. Reworked with newer PP techniques.

Do miss the extra reach with the 600, but not the size and weight!
    Regards

    Andre.
