    This is another frame from the female harrier in her habitat on California cost, the raptor population is very low this in northern California given the sever drought

    Shot with the 1D-X and 600II + 1.4X III. ISO 3200, 1/2500sec at f/5.6. Hand held. processed with DPP 4. Hope you like it

    Super image, the colours of the habitat with the bluish and greens really make the bird stand out.

    The light just doesn't get any better than this!
    I really like the color palette with the very dramatic blues in the BG. I like the vertical lines created by the grasses. It gives just the right amount of "environmental" feel without overpowering the harrier.
    Wouldn't mind seeing a bit more room on the left if you have it.

    Hi Ari, sweet, sweet light, and love the flight pose. I like the BG with the strands of grasses, and nicely separated from the Harrier.

    Absolutely stunning. Light to die for, just a glimpse of the ventral view, terrific habitat. But what stands out for me is your amazing PP work, with no discernible noise at 3200 ISO.
