Bright sunlight was a problem here. Still, I enjoyed watching this Ibis as it searched for goodies in the sand on Sanibel Island, Florida. And I especially liked the crossed legs stance.

All comments and suggestions are as always welcomed.

Nice looking Ibis and good you caught it doing its thing

Light was harsh as you mentioned but you have controlled exposure on whites quite nicely and composed this well. The crossed legs and beak buried in the sand add interest, Good the eye is clearly visible as well

    Thanks for sharing

I too like the crossed legs. The wavy shoreline is nice.
I wish your POV had been lower and agree the harsh light is an issue.
The bill looks too orange. It should be quite red so I would adjust the color a bit,

I like the crossed legs. Light handled well.

Nice catch, with a very pleasant BG, but I'd experiment further with the blues -- that shadows on the bird and the sand have gone very blue. A tweak of the Temp slider will go a long way, and possibly slight desaturation of the blues in the HSL pane. The whites look a bit hot, too -- lowering the Highlights slider (in combination with possibly lowering Exposure a little) should bring up more detail, unless it's already been recovered as much as possible.
