Great pose, perfect setting and BG. The body looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor.

Great composition, nice perch and good eye contact. The bird looks slightly overcooked in the sharpening dept....:D

I like the composition and the pose of the bird with its right foot on top of the cactus spines. The flowers add to the image, IMO, and the background is perfect and complements the colors of the bird. Agree about the oversharpened look of the bird.

Freddie, I too really like the pose and perch, nice head turn and super eye color.
But have to agree about oversharpening.

I discovered a little trick a while back, hope it helps some....run a threshold adjustment layer and
you will easily find the halos. This sample is limited at 242 white and I reduced opacity
of threshold layer to 50% to see the underlying image better

Outstanding composition and as already metioned the slight over sharpening is the only negative Freddy I love this image and would love to see it after you have finished. Fine work Don;t forget to repost < smile >

Killer image and that cactus shape and flowers really sets it apart.

Lovely light ans set up Freddy. I'm not a big fan of the square crop but I'm sure you know that already.... :)

Freddy, nits already mentioned about sharpening and I'd take a bit off the top for comp. With all that being said, its a wonderful image with great eye contact/body pose and soft complimentary BG! It all works nicely!

I forgot to mention that it was appropo to capture an image of a Cactus Wren on a CACTUS!! :D
