If you pay attention to titles, you might wonder if this reminds me of fire. Well, sort of, but that's not it. The title relates to the shot being on target. Not target, really, but Target.
A small group of us gets together at a local Barnes & Noble most Saturday mornings to mostly talk informally about photography. In a shopping center across the street, there's a Target store that I walk by or into many times during the year. I've always been aware of the large red concrete balls that are there to keep cars from driving onto the sidewalk. A week ago, though, as I was heading for the entrance, the texture resulting from years of weathering and repainting caught my eye.
