Striking portrait, Satish. Love the iridescent head and the very fine details.

What a cool looking bird and a very engaging portrait of it. That eye ring is something...Simple and pleasing composition...

The details are very nice; this guy/girl has nice rictals. Is this a male or female?

Steve, thank you so much for your kind comments. This is male, adult.
I have sub adult male, which is Rufus morph ,both are with very long streamers. Where as female is rufous and dose not have streamers.
Here you can see adult male.

Nice to see a head shot of this species! When you try to include the tail feathers, you miss out on the beauty of the iridescent head and blue eye ring. Well done!

Beautiful exposure and lovely details. How you get a tight portrait shots of an uncommon species like this, with a 400mm reach is a testament to persistence and skill. Very nice work Satish.
