    Another nice grouse image Wiliam. Good head turn and nice OOF background. Just a pity that the bottom half of the bird tends to blend in with the heather. The red wattle stands out nicely.

    I like the environment as much as the bird...beautiful. Personally, I would like a bit more room at the bottom.

    Handsome! Perfect head angle, and it worked well that your shooting angle isolated the head against the distant background....Image quality is very nice. The bird does blend in well with the scrub in the foreground.
