    Made this in my hometown Bangalore with a Canon 450D + Sigma 150-500mm.
    F6.3 | ISO 400 | SS 1/1600 @ 500mm. Manual | Eval
    Cropped from horizontal | Levels | USM | NR on BG.

    very well done perhaps we can lighten or brighten the eyes a little??

    Great BG colors and look back pose. The direct gaze is very nice and draws me into the image.
    I would lighten up the birds right eye with a bit of dodging and back off slightly on the sharpening.
    I like this image a lot!

    Wonderful subject, and you got it on a nice perch and against a beautiful background. Vertical comp a no-brainer. I love the direct stare. I agree the darker of the two eyes would look better if lightened.

    Lovely shot and proove that the 'old' Sigma can produce nice detail if used correctly. I love that 'stare'and agree about raising the shadows over its shaded eye.

    Beautiful bird, great back look, super layered BG. Another vote to brighten the eye. Very nicely captured.

    Stunning image, Girish, for all the reasons mentioned above. Your DOF is perfect and I love the full head turn for this head-on view. Beautiful BG and perch. Vertical comp and bird placement also perfect. Lovely!
