You did a great job with the sharpness and the color. Was this at a set-up? a

Thanks Artie. While this was on a property with feeders not too far away, this image was not a setup.

Superb shot of this gorgeous bird. Great eye contact and pose, good exposure and details. What makes this for me is the superb perch!
-
Green on green. Beautiful image, love the setting, pose and the food item in the beak.

What an impressive frame. Love the colors, the touches on the perch, the prey. The only thing I might consider if you have the canvas is to move the bird slightly to the left since he seems just a tad centered, maybe giving it a bit more room on top.

Thanks Sid. To my mind, that makes the perch that much more special. a

WOW, like double WOW, for a non set up image of this electric looking species! You nailed it imo. Composition is not too centered for my taste, especially given the bird's size in the frame. Happy St. Patricks day image! :) Beautifully processed for the high ISO.

Superb image. Love the green on green combo and details. Good use of the flash aswell. I also like the image as it is. I don't find it to be too centered.

Man oh man this is nice! Love the green on green and that perch is " to die for".
IQ is excellent. The little seed pods are so nice and different ( or maybe they are little leaves?).
Diagonal line of perch enhances the visual appeal of this image.
A beauty Sid!
I would run a little NR on the tail and smooth out the line in the circle to the right and below the bill. (I am being really nitpicky here!)

Such a pretty bird. Nice use of the flash. Works very very well for me. Thanks

Stunning photo Sidharth! The flash really brings out the iridescence in the feathers. Did you use an diffusers or modifiers for the flash?
