    Lovely capture Karl. I like how you chose a POV to show the reflection. Nice feather detail on the bird and nice HA. Fab looking bird. Good work

    I like the sharpness, HA, details, exposure and POV. I would take a bit off the bottom but its a beauty as posted. Very well done Karl.

    Nice image in the soft light Karl. Very pretty bird.

    Looks like Artie may have lightened the image and used a little detail extractor, but I would be well pleased with either post.

    Thanks Artie, thank you all.
    One improvement is to have more details in the dark areas.
    The other is that the bird pops more.

    Karl and Gerald, Yes. I worked only on the dark areas of the face. I ran my NIK 50-50 recipe on that layer, reduced that by 50%, sharpened that area only with a Contrast Mask (15/65/0), and then, as is often necessary, pulled the Curve up on that layer only to "re-brighten" it. a
