    Nuthatch head shotThis pi is taken with a Nikon D7100
    It is a large crop- 16% of the full frame - I repeat 16 % of th full frame.

    Nothing much done apart from neat image on whole original, cropping there after to this size
    .
    Sharpen for re size as usual.
    Did this as an excercise to see what the D71000 could do.
    Cheap gear but will do for me.

    About 16 % of full frame ! Repeat-16% offull frame.
    ISO 500
    200th sec @f10
    At 200mm Nikor 70-300mm

    Detail loss due to the big crop is impacting this image. Cute pose though.

    I like the second image , it show more of the bird and in first crop , there are much lost of the details........

    Great shot indeed.. with subject is so small with great details......
