Red-tailed Hawk - 4,000th Post!!!

Here is a good look at "Ricky" the Red-tailed Hawk. He is a beautiful mature male of his species. He stayed in this location for a few weeks and he used this perch that we setup to hunt from in the early morning hours. If I showed up at the crack of dawn and slowly moved my truck forward, he would tolerate my presence and I would get to sit for an hour or more with him watching him hunt. I like this frame as it gives a good look at the classic "Red Tail".

Congratulations you certainly have a good one here for the 4000th post. The image has lots of impact and wonderful details. If I had to suggest anything it would be to consider toning down the tree trunk a little.
