Another from the test session with the 7d2 - I think it's got potential once I get it dialled in to how I want it. Only downside is it gives me less excuses than I would like - can't be blaming myself for producing rubbish can I??
Really nice. Although the subject is behind the perch (a perch that I like a lot) the pose makes it work perfectly. The oof vegetation at the bottom adds much interest. I would, however, tame the brightest tones on the flanks.
Hi Mike, agree with Daniels observations and a simple Luminosity Channels & Sat adjustment really does pull in truck loads of detail and clarity in the subject and with masking you can really 'tailor' those adjustments. Personally I would have liked a bit more DoF and with the 500 and distance between subject & BKG, doubt it would have harmed the overall 'look & feel'. I would be tempted to crop out that knot at the foot of the perch.
