I love the shot Gail. Love the intensity, the splayed primaries, and the cloudy/snowy day really helped illuminate everything here. I suppose crit-wise, I might crop in just a bit tighter.

Awesome! The image immediately conveys thoughts of strength, courage and determination. I appreciate the mystery as the Eagle seems to be emerging from nothingness like the abyss.

A great look at a splendid bird. I'm envious! That is a species we never see up close around here! The high-key look is very appealing and what's not to like about the stare and the prey and the talons!

This is great! I really like the contrast of the eagle against the white background - great pose and look from the eagle, too!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Gerald

I really like the head on stare and the cool looking cupped wings position. Great looking contrast between the dark eagle and the white snow background. Sharp and full detail. Well done Gail

I like the sharpness, details, DOF, incoming pose and exposure. I could see a tighter version but still a beauty as presented.

Gail, nice wings position, one of my favorite BE moment is when the tips are curved like the one shown.

nice dynamic pose with good exposure, I like that you got some texture from the snow too. needs more sharpening
