    Hello,

for me its a realy sweet pose and picture, you have here.
The light is bright, but not to hard, sharpness is good and the sparrow acts like your model,
the gras in the beak looks great and makes the difference. Nothing to ctitisize for me...

I love to photograph subjects that may be considered as common or less desirable because they are always there for you. Consistent observation leads to interesting behavior and poses. I love this image; here in Montana, I immediately equate her nest building material with a lasso and I have seen many ranchers and cowboys (cowgirls) with rope between their teeth. Sharp and detailed; great quality. I appreciate the smooth distraction free background and it's color.

very good light, details, perch, pose & BG. The grass adds that extra bit to the image.

A good pose, I like the light on the underside of the perch, as it shows it's weathering. A ice look back the grass is a big benefit.

Gorgeous!! All has been said above. The bird is so sharp and lovely, you might even consider cropping just a little more from the top and left -- the heaviness of the perch feels unbalanced with the empty space there.
