    Hi Austin,

This is a very cool image of a Falcon with prey. Very interesting behavioral image. Nice low angle and attractive clean bg too. Do you know what kind of bird it is feeding on here? I assume this is a captive Falcon since you posted in this forum. My only nit is that it's a bit tight on the right.

Hi all, thanks for your comments.

Jim, The bird is feeding on a pheasant and you make a good point about the tight RHS.
Del, I was using a 500mm lens which helps and I should have mentioned in my original post.

    Thanks again,

    Austin

This is such an interesting behavioral image. The close up of the falcon with the prey makes an impact. Well composed, good detail and sharpness.......and just downright terrific.

Great behavior shot, Austin. I agree with Jim on the composition. On my monitor it looks as if there is a very slight blue cast. Maybe you could raise the color temperature a bit.

A very intense image here Austin which I really like. I'll echo the tight composition nit (minor) but I'd still love to have this in my collection.

    Great image Austin.

Been out with Wild Shots? :)

BG and details are great - a little tight at the back. Colour temp looks about right to me for Scotland :)

    Cheers
