These tiny wrens can often be heard chattering away in the marsh, but are often difficult to capture in the open. This one stayed still just long enough for me to get several poses, although I wish the tail were free from the reeds in this one.

Very nice Bill. Good IQ as well.
I like the comp and the very vertical feel to this image.
I might increase the exposure a little bit.

Good call, Gail. I went into Levels and realized that I could pinch in the right slider without clipping any whites. Is this better? I think so.

Fantastic! I've only just glimpsed these birds, so quick and hard to photograph. Yours is prefect and I love the background and habitat. The tail for me is not an issue at all.

Great capture, Bill. Very nice pose on the reed perch. Like the repost enhancing the light quality. Well done.

Lovely image Bill. Esp the repost. I love the overall colours of the frame, blends in well. Bird nice and sharp. Would have liked a wee bit more turn of the head. Well done

Nice frame of this cool little bird in its habitat. The feather details look great and I like to be repost for the exposure. Well done Bill
