    Default Flamingo

This is an old one from the time when I was not a resident of Yucatan. Comments are welcome.

This is truly a stunning portrait. I love the soft light, your choice of composition and the BG. Is this a captive bird?

Sweet shapes. Has a very childish feel to it, and the dirty bill just adds to it. Love it!

Thank you for the comment, Marina. This bird is as wild as it can be. With patience it is possible to get very close to them in this area.

Love the S-curve, nicely composed against the green BG.

Very nice colours, and yes, the S shape really is quite something here. I'd have preferred the same amount of space below the neck as there is above the head, but still a fine image!

Beautiful portrait Lorant and I really like that colorful background with this Nice pink flamingo. The feather detail looks excellent and I agree with Daniel about a little bit more room below. Well done

excellent portrait. the pinks stands out against that green BG. The curved neck makes it artistic.

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I was playing a lot with the crop and the composition and I found this one the best for my taste. I can imagine that Dan's suggestion would work fine too. Thanks again.
