Very nice capture of the running pronghorn and the western sage habitat. I really like the moment pushing off that one leg with all the other legs in the air! The overcast light helps to bring out the whites and tans of the antelope while visually minimizing the grays of the bkgd.

Hello Rachel,
This lovely pronghorn makes me think of a snow ball - I love the detail in the whites on its immaculate soft fur and right now I have this desire to touch it and feel what it is like
I too agree the overcast weather worked in your favour here and you had a very steady hand to capture this fellow running - subject tack sharp against the BG and it pops so well.
Colours look natural, overall an image well processed and presented Rachel, I wonder if you have more on this speedster?
Warmest regards,

Hi Rachel. A very nice mid-air running pose you captured! I like the exposure, the detail and the comp a lot. Nicely done.

Hi Rachel nice timing on this one with the legs in the air .
Nice tones and great detail in the whites , yes the overcast light has helped a lot with this . Agree with yourself regarding the running off position , not ideal but nothing you can do about .
Where is the fourth hoof ? lost ? or is it in the ground ?

Hi Rachel, all been said above, although I might be tempted to keep the crop ratio, but go a fraction tighter to lose the white areas top RHC as I know you don't like to clone. Like Andreas, curious about the hoof?

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions. Andreas and Steve - In other images from the same sequence the hoof is there so I think it just sank into the ground slightly.
Thanks again,
Rachel

Rachel,
Really like the position of the one foot on the ground and showing some motion while the others are frozen... I'm with Steve on the upper RHC. Good job!

A common view of a running pronghorn, heading the opposite way! Love the pose you captured, I find them to be quite graceful when they run. Good detail in that nice, full, winter coat too. Surprised at the lack of snow on the ground.

Thanks Dale and Steve. Steve - I was surprised too. By the end of the week it was in the 40s so what was there was melting.
