Good look at this young Drake and I like the contrast of the snow foreground and background. The details look great. Well done Karl

Lovely image Karl. Nice details on the bird and I love that walking pose. The BG is excellent, looks as it is, really cold. Well done on a fine capture

    Hi Karl,
You are capitalizing on our super cold winter that brings these ducks closer to shore due to ice.
Nice IQ and fun walking pose. Good light as well and you have exposed for the snow perfectly,
    Gail

Very nice and original setting for this one. IQ is very good and ice takes this one over the top

Is that white spot under the eye a catchlight or something else?

A different view of this merg. Nicely exposed, with great walking pose. Looks like he's exploring the North Pole (probably felt like that at times). Well captured.

Hi Karl, love the light and overall IQ in this. Excellent detail and colours on the Merganser, sharp, and overall well exposed.

One of your top images Karl. Well done.
