When I was in Mexico, they had a lovely boardwalk and one day while trying to identify all the shore birds, this friendly black lab decided he wanted to play in the water. Well it would have been fetch the stick all morning, but he ended up following me and I got this shot of him. (his shadow) His name is Panchito. Threshold filter, a texture, some adjusting for perspective.

Love that abstractness of this, with the bright, gritty background, the solid black shapes and the black grit as a transition between the elements. Love the unexpectedness of the dog coming in from the side! Very well seen and created!

    Jackie,

Greetings. Not sure what carries the feel of Mexico but this has it. The tongue is perfect ;-) ! Good show! Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

    Unusual. I like the simplicity.

A dramatic abstract with rich color and texture. Love the dog with it's tongue out.

I love the colors, especially with the black from the threshold treatment. The best thing, though, is that it's abstract enough that it held my attention while I tried to figure it out. Very nicely done.

I was hoping it would take a while to figure out, thanks Dennis and everyone for the comments.
