Looks like some Magenta on feet and eye, did not desat, it was natural, should I remove it?

Stunning close up Andre, really superb detail and sharpness. And a cracking BG to boot. I always like more room around the subject but you may not have had any and this is subjective. (Have no issue with the feet and eye) TFS

Amazing capture, superb details. Magenta cast doesn't bother me.

Amazing close-up. Terrific details, pose. I also love the BG, and the eye. Would have liked just a little more room around him, but it sounds as if this is how you saw him. Magenta looks ok to me. Nicely captured.

I love kingfishers, and I love this shot! IQ is fantastic, and I like the varied BG. I personally don't mid the size of the bird in the frame. The only crit I have is that I'd reduce the yellows in the BG, especially on the left as it's a little eye-grabbing.

Brilliant capture, Andre. Your gamble paid off with very nice detail. Wonderful raised head feathers and great BG too.

Great capture, a very unique bird. Amazing how small the feet are compared to the head. Thank you for sharing.

What a funky looking bird!! Details are to my taste, and the BG is rather sweet. The image does not suffer from any cast that I can see, and whatever magenta is on the eye and feet look natural to me. Another vote for more room for the composition, but it looks like you could not have backed up from the boat!

Hi Buthi , you did very well with the big glass and slow SS.
All does look very good to me , a very nice comp with a great subject and i like the overall color and tone . The BG is priceless .
I might only darken the 1/4 tones for a bit more Oomph .

Are you the first person who can use LR 6 ?

    Cheers yours Mr B.E.
