    I stalked this little guy for a full 30 minutes before he came out of the reeds shadow-free.

    Your stalking skills and patience paid off John. I like the crop you choose for this picture and the inclusion of habitat makes this one for me. Different and pleasing, I like it a lot. TFS.

    I too love the habitat inclusion here and you still got the whole bird sharply in focus. The pose is nice, in that it looks like its eyeing prey.
