    hello to all

came to this place because I developped from point&shoot to bridge and upgraded recently to 7Dii - which I handle sometimes still like a point&shoot camera ;) with lots of pixel garbage coming out evidently.
So I decided I need to learn a bit more. Until that I extremly enjoy looking at the amazing and wonderful photos I will never be able to make and develop myself. So many ressources here - thanks for all the tips and information!

Welcome to BPN Sabine!! You've certainly come to the right place to get you going with your new DSLR bird / nature photography hobby!! Looking at images and reading the critiques is a good way to learn but also be sure to check out the "Educational Resources" forum for tons of excellent topics and tips. There is also the "Eager to Learn" forum for those who want to post images for critique but may feel a bit overwhelemed or timid to post in the other forums.

I think you will be able to surprise yourself with practice. You can do it! When I look back at my pictures ten years ago I am amazed at the progress I've made...it will happen to you, too
