The splash and the back legs up is great in this image, would love to see a bit of the croc as well.
Have a great eve

LOL Andreas... I like the splash behind zebra more than I like the "space to run into"

Hi Morkel - Great story posted over in the new forum and the image works really well as part of the story. Maybe because I have read the story I find myself wanting a hint of the croc. As is, I too love the splash but would still like a bit more room for the zebra to run into. What can I say, I want both
.

Dear Morkel,
I am sure you have enough frames from this sighting, some with splash, some with space, and some with a bit of both:) I just love those hind legs about to hit the water (or maybe the croc...or both:)
The tension here is superb, and let us not forget this zebra is running for its life, having already been trapped for a few seconds in the powerful jaws of the crocodile. You are a great storyteller yourself Morkel, and a persuasive one, your extended sequence had me glued to my computer screen the other night:)
This happens to be my favourite frame of the lot, I can see those menacing teeth below the water and one fearful zebra in its sublime flight to freedom - a very special capture and I thank you so much for sharing
Warmest regards,

I like the power displayed in those hind legs here Morkel, this zebra tucks them in as hard as he can...................and with good reason!
Good story sequence as well, and this ties in nicely.

Hi Morkel, haven't read the story, so just taking the image as a stand alone, a lot to catch up on at present.
Good choice of format and I like how the zebra pops from the environment. The spray and pace/pose conveys a zebra in flight nicely, but do agree a hint more to the RHS as a 'stand a lone image' would help and an easy manipulation. As is, I might just add some brightness, just lifts the image a bit more.
