    Beautiful color and excellent exposure control here Jon. I like the water drops coming off the GCG, and the forward lean is a nice pose.
    The IQ looks good enough to withstand a slightly tighter crop that could move your subject a little more left of center.
    Overall a very nice image, and a pleasure to see.

    Great colours and sharpness on the bird Jon. Lovely POV and I really love that pose. Great work.

    That's them arrived at my local loch aswell

    Pointing your lens more to your right would have made for a better composition IMO, but I like the water shake-off behaviour, light, colours.

    Hi Jon, great low shooting angle, and I like the shaking off behaviour. I also like the various colours throughout the image. Yes to maybe a touch off the LHS.
