    From this AM at the NWR on Granite Point Biddeford Maine. 1dm3 on 500 f4 w/ 2X resting on a fence post.

    Nice portrait and soft light. I would give it a bit more room and remove the sheen from the bill. The BG looks a bit dark and noisy and doesn't allow for much separation with the bill.

    Hi Bob Agree with Axel Main two points are the bill not being easily distinguished and the bill shine !! Easy fix in PS !!!

    I like the sharpness, head angle and that you waited for the feathers to flair a bit !!!

    Hi Bob,

    The whites are drop dead on and the yellows are great. I can live with the dark areas as I can still see the bill and I am sure that it will print fine. Is this the area that you mentioned that is a drop of gas away from Hills Beach

    John, Yes. Granite Point is only 3 miles from Hills Beach. Bob
